Originally from Poland, Bartlomiej Sienkiewicz is a UK based cinematographer who shoots feature and short films, promos, commercials and cinematic documentary in a variety of formats. He specialized in cinematography at the Film and Television Academy in Poland and continued to learn his trade and understanding of storytelling techniques by assisting top cinematographers in the Polish film industry (PSC).
In 2008 Bartlomiej moved to the UK and began working professionally as Director of Photography. He has since build up a diverse portfolio ranging from fiction to commercial work. He continues to develop a creative and innovative approach to his craft and the ability to work well with other people, both professionally and with good humour.
A selection of projects include feature films Piercing Brightness for Ubik Prod. Ham & The Piper for Prussia Lane Productions and BBC historic reconstruction docudrama series Great Persians (shot on location in Turkey). Many short films photographed by Bartlomiej have screened at international film festivals earning him the ‘Best Cinematography’ nomination at Strasbourg International Film Festival in 2009.
